Can a day worry?

I was trying to sleep last night and worrying about what will happen with this or that and I remembered the verse that says, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own." I thought about that and I think it is true. With global warming, atheism, wars, disease, poverty, materalism, etc., each day does have a lot of worries and why should I add to them by worrying about things that could happen? It doesn't help and it isn't pleasing to the Lord. I am continually placing these things in God's hands. Are you anxious today? God is ready to lighten your load!

The First Post =)

I am in Nebraska doing support/fundraising, all with the goal of returning to Cambodia in March 09. Thank you to those who supported me the last 2 years, those who just started and those who will! I spent 2 years in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, teaching and training students about sustainable agriculture and nutrition. God invited me to work with him in Cambodia and I will forever be changed by the beautiful people, the cultural climate and the reality of life. Praise the Lord for he is doing a new thing in the lives of these people!
